Roller Coaster Presentation
Today we started class by looking at what would happen if the sun suddenly went out. We also presented our roller coasters and discussed the energy as well as the forces that our roller coasters used.

Wonderopolis
To start class today we looked at the questions of;

-
What would Earth be like without the Sun?
-
What would happen to Earth if the Sun suddenly disappeared?
-
How long could humans survive on Earth if the Sun went out?

Some key facts we found out was that we wouldn't know the sun was out until eight and a half minutes later. This is because that is how long light takes to travel to earth. We also found out that eventually the earth could reach temperatures of -400 degrees fahrenheit.

Roller Coaster Presentations
During class today we shared our roller coasters. I am so proud of everyone who presented online and shared their incredible ideas! You all were able to identify different forces and locations of energy on your roller coaster! Great job!

Bonus Field Trip
We didn't get to this in class, but here is a fun virtual field trip to the Kennedy Space Center.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
