Narration
Today we we continued our unit on storytelling through the use of Pixar in a Box. We also looked at the key aspects of a story and wrote our own stories based on different options.

Notre Histoire
Today we discussed the important questions to answer when writing a story: Qui (Who), Quoi (What), Ou (Where), Quand (when), Comment (how), Pourquoi (why)

The following examples are what we used to write our own stories with guidance. Eventually students will get to pick their own options for the choices.

Quand
This is our when. When does your story take place? In our example from class we used "Ce matin"
Quand
We added a second part to our when with time. What time does your story take place? In our example from class we used "6 h 00"
Qui
Here we are looking at the "who" of our story. Who is the story focused on? In our example from class we chose "Le roi"
Quoi
Here we are looking at the "what" of our story. What action is our main character doing? In our example from class we chose "Faire du yoga"
Ou
Here we are looking at the "where" of our story. Where is our action taking place? In our example from class we chose "dans la maison"
Comment
Here we are looking at the "how" of our story. what leads us into our why? How do we get to our final action? In our example from class we chose "dans la maison"
Pourquoi
Here we are looking at the "why" of our story. what are we doing in the end of our story? What is our final action? In our example from class we chose "le chat".

Our final short story in a sentence was; Ce matin a 6 h 00, le roi faire du yoga dans la maison pour faire avec son chat.

Pixar in a Box
Today we continued with the Pixar in a Box unit and listened to pixar animators share what movies had an impact on them. We learned about important moments in films that made the movies stand out, and stick with them for life.
Activité #2
Today we started activity two and students were asked this question: Qu'elle trois films est-ce que vous voulez prendre avec vous sur un ile desert?

What three films would you want to take with you to a deserted island?

We will continue with this activity on Monday and start thinking about what might make our own stories stand out when we start writing.
